An Evening to Remember: Eco Stylish Podcast

The last Eco Stylish Party Dress event was truly one for the books! It brought together an amazing community to celebrate circular fashion, connect with like-minded individuals and spark conversations about a more conscious future. A huge highlight of the night? The podcast interview with two extraordinary guests:

Caroline Gration - Founder and Director of The Fashion School, who shared her insights on empowering creativity through sustainable fashion education.

Hannah Riley - An inspiring multi-hyphenate from London College of Fashion, UAL, and the Centre for Sustainable Fashion, who also founded Fashion Recipes for the Future (more on that in a bit!).

The podcast was a whirlwind of brilliant ideas, passion for circular fashion and actionable steps to make our wardrobes kinder to the planet. If you missed it, don’t worry - you can watch the recorded interview:

About That Word: Recipes

Now, let me pause for a confession. Even after living in London for years, I’ve only just discovered how to pronounce recipes! (Blame it on not being a native English speaker.)

For someone who loves cooking but doesn’t follow recipes, it’s kind of ironic.

So, when Hannah introduced Fashion Recipes for the Future, I couldn’t help but chuckle at the coincidence. Let’s just say her initiative is a lot more structured than my approach in the kitchen, and a lot more inspiring too!

Her metaphor of “recipes” is brilliant: step-by-step guides for creating a sustainable and stylish future. Unlike my cooking experiments, these recipes are guaranteed to lead to something amazing.

A Heartfelt Thank You to Podcast Guests

The evening reminded me of why I started Eco Stylish: to create moments like this where people can share, learn and make a difference together. Thank you to everyone who joined, swapped dresses or simply came to soak up the atmosphere. And of course, thank you to Caroline and The Fashion School in Chelsea for the insights and support. It was the perfect location for this event!

My gratitude also goes to Hannah for sharing her knowledge and warmth. Let’s keep the conversation going — whether it’s about circular fashion or sustainable living. Let's stay stylish and kind to the planet!
