One year ago, Eco Stylish took its first steps toward redefining fashion industry. Last year, during London Fashion Week, we gathered at The Conduit, a private members’ club in London, to launch our first event and the Eco Stylish Podcast. The event was not just about fashion, but about empowerment, collaboration, and giving voice to people in the industry.

The first episode our Eco Stylish Podcast, recorded live during the event, featured Bobbi Trehan-Young, the founder of Bobbi London, an entrepreneur who has navigated significant challenges in the fashion and tech industries. Bobbi shared her personal journey, revealing the struggles and triumphs of launching her brand.
“Starting Bobbi London was a dream fueled by the desire to merge style with functionality. I wanted to prove that women in business could have elegant and practical accessories tailored to their needs.” Bobbi Trehan-Young
The Challenges of Building a Fashion Brand
Bobbi’s journey was far from smooth. She faced multiple challenges, including legal battles over her brand’s name. Despite this, she remained committed to her vision.
“I was hit with a lawsuit from a really large French firm who wanted to stop me from even establishing my brand. But it was my resilience, determination, and consistency that kept me going.” Bobbi Trehan-Young
Even with this legal struggle hanging over her, Bobbi continued developing products, bringing them to market, and pushing forward with her vision for Bobbi London. Her story became a testament to the power of perseverance in the fashion industry.
One of the key themes that emerged from our conversation with Bobbi was her commitment to empowering women. Her company proudly supports a female-first workforce. Bobbi’s advocacy extends beyond her own business.
She became an official delegate for UN Women UK and is actively involved in initiatives that bring changemakers, policymakers and global leaders together.
The Vision Behind Eco Stylish
During the event, I've shared the inspiration behind Eco Stylish and how it aims to transform the industry by fostering networking, collaboration and inclusivity.
“The fashion industry is known for being highly competitive, but I wanted to bring a different perspective—one that encourages collaboration. Eco Stylish was created to give people in the industry a platform to share their experiences, connect with one another, and inspire new ideas.” Lina Vaz
Eco Stylish events are more than just discussions; they create opportunities for learning and networking. By hosting live conversations with those already working in the fashion industry, the Eco Stylish Podcast ensures that these inspiring stories reach a wider audience, encouraging others to pursue their own fashion and business aspirations.
One Year Later: Celebrating Our First Eco Stylish Event
Looking back on our first-ever event, we are incredibly proud of what we’ve achieved. The Eco Stylish Podcast has continued to bring industry voices to the forefront, inspiring listeners to take bold steps in their careers.
One of the key takeaways from our inaugural event was the "power of starting before you feel ready", as Bobbi wisely shared:
“Talk to people about what you’re passionate about. You’ll be surprised how quickly doors open. If you have an idea, don’t push it to the back of your mind, make time for it. Small successes will start appearing, and before you know it, your passion will take priority in your life." Bobbi Trehan-Young
This philosophy is at the heart of Eco Stylish. We believe in giving people a platform to share, learn, and grow. Whether you’re launching a fashion brand, starting a creative project and seeking collaboration, or simply looking for inspiration, Eco Stylish is here to support and elevate your journey.
